That's what I said :-"
You could bi-amp all the non-sub channels of a 5.1 HT setup or almost bi-amp a 7.1 HT setup. (Searching hard for excuses, um justafictions, uh justifications for keeping amps :D )

Re: New Sunfire 5400

Holy Thread Revival, Batman! :o :) :D  hehe, Have you seen "Dark Knight" yet? Since I'm still checking out threads here, (often with no regard to the original post date - the month and day part looked close enough to me - that I missed that YEAR thing) you may continue to see "belated"...

Re:

I've been wanting to do a similar project with a Mac-based processor, but I've been having a heck of a time finding a non-i-Tunes software solution. I recently came across this package from Austrailia called Kenbushi, and I think I'm going to get it, and try it out on my laptop. If it works, I know...

Re: Musical Instruments - Show Your Gear Thread

kloneman1, I am not a guitar player, but the guitar is made from metal and rusted on purpose. I had the idea to refinish it like a National steel, but when I called a guitar playing friend, he couldn't get over to play it fast enough. He loves playin it. He said it is a copy of a Telecaster with a ...

Re: Musical Instruments - Show Your Gear Thread

Reese: Those instruments are beautiful. Are they playable? Thanks, Kloneman! Yep, playable both. The harpsichord is only about 20+ years old -- a marvelous Hubbard instrument from Massachussetts. The Erard is on life support by humidifier (as is the harpsichord) since the relative humidity here in ...

Re: Cable Burn In

Well, for me, if your ears tell you it's so, it's so. Like I said in my earlier post above, it should be measurable (the engineer in me), but if it isn't, it's just because we aren't going about the measurement in the right way, or don't know how to measure it (yet, I hope). Bill you have it right ...

Re: Silver 7t's sold 4 $250

Makes you want to cry devnull - I could have walked over to pick them up! They sold about 25 minutes after they were listed. Wish he'd seen an ad I'd run on Craigslist that I was looking for a pair. Oh well. heh. You should be crying a river! Naturally there's a tiny little window of opportunity th...
