Re: WTB - Platinum 60" Ribbons or complete speakers

Don't know how this got by, sorry to say the least. As mentioned i have a set of 60 inch ribbons ready to ship. The speakers have been serviced/rebuilt so no worries there. My concern is shipping. I bought a set myself and they did not survive the trip, although they were not as well packaged as th...

Re: CHALLENGE!

I wonder, does anyone EVER stop obsessing about hardware and who's got what or hears what, and is simply satisfied with what they have for a while, so that they can concentrate on the MUSIC ?? If you die with the best or most toys, you're still dead and you're hardly a Winner!! I don't keep the ste...

Re: CHALLENGE!

You gotta love an asshat that lobs hand grenades and then plays innocent. 'Well, I NEVER said anything like that'.....at least have the minerals to stand your ground. Now, the assumption here is that everything that is audible can be measured, which is simply untrue. You can take two loudspeakers wi...

Gents, I know I have volunteered my abode for a Carver-fest sometime spring 2008. I have been mulling possible dates and would lean to something mid-April An impending developement though is a better than average possibility of me pulling a one year tour in Korea through that time frame. I should kn...

The only thing I can think of that a pair of 901's would be good for is pop out the drivers and it would be a dandy herb garden.

Re: Air Force Audiophile (hobbyist)

There seems to be a few members in the Air force here and the rest of the Branches as well....Many of you may already know this, but do you know who the "King" of Air Force audio hobbyists has to be? I've reread again the post and clearly the implication is that he was an AF member which is patentl...

He was a civilian, not an Air Force officer.

Another example of barn's lack of reading comprehension.

Re: Mono mate for an M-1.5t

Hi folks.... Looking for a mono mate (bridgeable amp) for my m-1.5t - something cosmetically identical. Needs to power a center channel rated at 200w - curious about the m-200t, m-0.5t or m-1.0t... or other? Any of these, or like these, bridgeable? I know that the m200t that I had was bridgeable as...

I'll apologize to the extent that I should have just left it alone, however, I just couldn't help it. For me, the entertainment value is astronomical.

Sorry guys..

I have more than a passing aquaintance with the UK, I have several friends who live there. I will call the BS flag on your little analogy. It simply doesn't hold water.

Still waiting for this laundry list of inaccuracies.....
