Re: Looking For The Electrician (or Someone Like Him...)

Z, you a drummer? Whats your set? Other equipment? What's your band genre? Cover Original, mix? My son is the drummer. He's in 3 bands at the moment, one classic rock, one originals, the other death metal. http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd424/zumbini/Zacks%20Stuff/CrossgateBricksampMortarFesti...

Re: Looking For The Electrician (or Someone Like Him...)

Hey Zumbini, welcome back. Good to see you posting here as well as "there". Thanks Frank. That's quite an impressive lp collection. It occurs to me that if you were to digitize it, starting at the upper left corner and working through, by the time you got finished you'd be .....dead!! That same tho...

Re: Looking For The Electrician (or Someone Like Him...)

In the days of a ipod consolidated music setup, i bet if you started at one end, you would not listen to the same song for atleast a year or two. Wow that is a big lp collection. I have meet a few guys over the years with that kind of devotion to vinyl. My friend Dave in Marysville wash, has such a...

You were defending a friend you thought had been treated unfairly. I would have done the same (minus expletives and maternal references).

Re: Looking For The Electrician (or Someone Like Him...)

Sweet! Wow that a hell of a audio collection of disc. Bet is sounds as good as it looks. Thanks Angelo. It's not perfect (yet) but it'll do in a pinch. I have considerably more LPs in another rack in the next room. http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd424/zumbini/Misc%20Stuff/RecordStorage.j...

Re: Looking For The Electrician (or Someone Like Him...)

Using the opposite channel ground was necessary because the "correct" binding post was damaged. No biggie since it's a common ground amp. Oh, i missed that. So, then all you have is one channel with a touch more headroom right? That's correct Angelo. The owner's manual suggests about 30% more power...

Re: Looking For The Electrician (or Someone Like Him...)

I briefly toyed with the idea of running bridged M-1.5t's (series bridged with simple mods), but then I decided to go with PM-1.5a's instead - younger, tougher, slightly more power, lots more features, but still with the Anthracite look I wanted. Still, I'm finding it difficult to give up my remain...

Re: Why are we different sides of the same coin

....I have been looking and looking and don't see those posts you refer to Z as "being just as" anything with those who left, perhaps they too were removed or edited, another thing I can't wrap my brain around and as a woman and we do have large brains. One of Angelo's posts was editted by me, anot...

Re: Looking For The Electrician (or Someone Like Him...)

....I was confused, because you were driving both channels and using the opposite channel's ground(black) terminal. I believe neither of which should be neessary (or have any effect).... I was confused too Phil #-o (about needing to feed both channels). Using the opposite channel ground was necessa...

Re: Looking For The Electrician (or Someone Like Him...)

Zumbini- I know this is an old post, but any chance you could please put up a pic of the silkscreened diagram for mono connection that's on the back of your M-1.5t? Sounds like you've got them "strapped" in parallel mono. That must sound terrific! When I posted this I was feeding one channel of eac...

Re: Why are we different sides of the same coin

Zumbini, You speak of respect. Tell me as a man one who states that he can make conscious decisions, Do you really feel that the way Richp treated RobertR was appropriate. Everyone of the people on the Carversite continue to turn a blind eye to what really started all of this and that was Richp Dis...
