Re: Carver PM 600 Buzzing

Please note my lack of technical background - I'll admit to this straight away - and it may color my ability to convey what I'm hearing with this amp. However, from both channels there is a noticable buzz. I don't believe this is a 60 hz ground hum as from ground loop. It hums with only speakers co...

Re: Carver PM-900 - reduce fan speed

I use a pair of PM -175's and have pushed them to clip for DJ use and they are not fan cooled and have been used for over two summers now...If you are putting no more than 50 watts max into a speaker I doubt you would need the fan but you should really keep it on maybe but some material over it to p...

The ZR1600 isnt a carver product. It is a class T amp or something crazy they are also pretty big and not that g...

I run a pair of them. They are very nice, consistent, powerful, and reliable. If you are looking to buy one I would suggest it, just make sure it is in good shape. PM me if you have any questions.

Re: Power conditioners.....

Does anyone here use them? Richard Gray, Panamax, Furman, |Monster PS Audio ???? What do you notice? In my opinion there is no such thing as power conditioners it is just a term for a expensive surge protector. In my opinion, the monster stuff is wildly overpriced and does nothing. I use a furman r...
