Thanks for your reply. The 250V 4A fast fuse's element is much smaller then the fuse that was in there. It's closer in size to the slow fuse. Are you certain it's the fast fuse?

It's a good amp but not for $600. You can find these new in the box for under $400 on ebay.

Questions about the TFM-6CB and TFM-15CB

On the TFM-6 and TFM-15 amps does the C stand for Chainable and does the B stand for Bridgeable? I know these are the addition features that the CB gives you. What is a TFM-6C? Just a chainable TFM-6 that's is NOT bridgeable? When chaining several of these amps together do they need to be powered on...

Thanks for the information guys. It's very helpful. Should I steer clear of any of these models in particular because of inherent problems or are they all good performers?

What are the differences between the Carver ribbon speakers?

I was hoping that someone could point out the differences between the Carver ribbon speakers. As far as I know there were Silvers, Platinums and AKs. How many versions of each of these are there? What are the differences between the versions? Do all the Silvers have 3 woofers and 48" ribbons while t...
