He sure did punch a lot of buttons and stuff to listen to that system! Don't even want to think about how much it costs, and NO REMOTE??? ](*,)

Not a big fan of MBL here....a good friend of mine and I went up to Jolida's headquarters a couple of years back and besides those damned tweeters emitting an awful sounding high pitched noise, even with no input, the overall sound was lacking. This was on a 120K all MBL setup. The lower registers were not really there and what you did hear had absolutely no impact at all. It seemed as if the drivers were not properly integrated and the mids did not match the rest of the system. What they DID shine on [and quite well] was the sound dispersion. The 180 degree plasma tweeters really did offer air and ambiance that I don't recall ever hearing another speaker reproduce.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.

You got to here them at a dealer. They sound a lot better. I would like to here the speakers with somebody else's electronics, preferably high powered tubes. Set up is extremely MBL's.
