Very nice, congrats! I really enjoyed mine while I had them. If they didn't come with the little silver box I'd recommend keeping an eye out for one as it really improves the bass response of those speakers.

Congrats, Al. Enjoy your new speakers. Does this mean Travis is moving down to New Orleans? I believe he was trying to sell his Silvers a few months ago to take a new job and relocate.

Congrats Al !! I ove my Silvers too !!

Initially I was driving them with a TFM42 and they sounded great...but the sounded even better with more power.

First I used 2 cubes bridged (500 watts) while my TFM 42 was out to Roland.

Later the Sunfire 5400 was in place.

This gives you a reason to get more stuff!!!! Isn't that great.

Also I found that positioning was really important. Try to get them away from any wall at least 18 to 24 inches and see how they sound. For me it opened up the soundstage tremendously.

Looking forward to seeing you.

Try 3-4 feet from the back wall as well. I get incredible sound that way.

Look very nice Al. Enjoy the Silvers. =D> How do they compare to the Carverfest speakers next to them, assuming have sub to supplement from 100Hz. on up?
