New guy

Post by rocketman50 » Wed Nov 04, 2009 2:11 pm

Newbie here...graybeard probably more appropriate. Been lurking about for a while but found the conversation here enlightening...and entertaining at times.
Stuff I'm using currently...
TFM-25 fpr music and HT main.
TFM 15CB (2) for surrounds & center.
Integra 9.8 processor.
Denon turntable.
Samsung blu-ray and TV
Klipsch Cornwalls(main), Academy's(center), Polks (surr)
Have TFM55x on way. Will shuffle the stack around when it gets here.

Also have old Marantz 2270 and Dual 1219 connected. Had that stuff in early 70s. Got itch to have again so went out and got replacements...didn't make me younger though...dang.!

I resemble that remark....but I am a "buckeye" after all!

Welcome aboard, Rocketman50. Would that "rocketman" refer to "aerospace engineer" by any chance (me an aeronautical/astronautical eng in my spare time... )?

And yes, you will love that 55 (if not, send it in for a Rita/Bob or Rolland "refurb" job and you'll have a world class "new" amp)!

Welcome to the forum Texas from sunny North Carolina. Nice setup.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.

These make a nice setup... I've had mine this way about 15 yrs. Getting the 55 so I can move the 25 to the center or surr...haven't decided yet.
