Two Sunfire 300~2 in the house!

My second Sufire arrived today. Playing as I type and sounds great. I don't have them both going to the speakers yet. Just hooked up the new one to see how it does.

Not yet. They just met. I need to get some more cables and another audio stand so they can have a better home. Then they can get married and start a family!

Re: Two Sunfire 300~2 in the house!

Tom, you need to move those amps down a few shelves on that rack. It makes me nervous all that weight (and money) sitting up there waiting to tip over.
It should sound like it isn't there!

Trust me...Those amps are not going to be up there for very long. I will be taking them down tonight. I gust wanted to test the new one and to get some cool pics. I now need to find a rack that can hold everything I have for my 2 channel system. More money to be spen very soon. ](*,)

Thanks Jag. I have always wanted Sunfire amps and kinda went off the deep end this month. Only one is hooked up to the ALIII's right now. After I get a rack and some more interconnects I will have it all hooked up really nice.

With only one hooked up so far it is better than the TFM 55 I had on my ALIII's. More dynamic and seems to project the soundstage better. Base seems to be tighter and highs are a bit better.

I will report back when I have both setup. It will be a week or so. It seems that beemers wants to play with one for a bit so I will indulge him for a litte while.

Re: Two Sunfire 300~2 in the house!

I can only imaging that a 600x2 could only be that much sweeter. \:D/ I cannot wait to get my ears on that when it gets here. I may have to wait a bit however, as I want to do some upgrades and a bit of restoration to it before I set it up in may rig.

I think it will kick ASS! I love my Carver gear but from what I have experanced so far the Sunfire are better. You need to take pics of every stage of repair and upgrades you do to that amp and post them. I think that would be a cool thread.
