Re: Two Sunfire 300~2 in the house!

So are you biamping the AL-IIIs now?

You NEED to pull them out about 2 feet & try them away from the wall. You'll be surprised~

Place your listening position further back & closer to the back wall. The book Jerry (Jag) has on roadshow, "Get Better Sound" says (& Bob concurs) that your speakers need to be out away from the wall & you should be in the "dead" end of the room, with the speakers in the "live" end. Also, it says the first thing to do is remove ANYTHING that is between the speakers (TV, fish tank, etc.) as this will affect the sound. The author placed his audio gear on the side of his listening position (not very WAF friendly!).

From FrankieD's lips to your ears: Sunfire - a quiet box of endless power.

Sunfire TG-IV/400~7 Amp
Carver SD/A-360 CDP
Benchmark DAC-1
Active bi-amp: Ashly XR-1001 & 2 Rane PEQ-15s
Main: HotRodded AL-IIIs
Sub: Klipsch RT-12d
Center: Sunfire CRS-3c
Surround: Sunfire CRS-3 (x 2)
