Re: Colorado Doc's Systems

Doc, I'm liking your inventory list.. in particular I love the a/d/s gear. Not too many people have their home gear these days, but their car gear was truly amazing. In my mind their PQ20 was the best sounding car amp ever made. A friend of ours who has been a sound quality judge for the IASCA world finals several times still uses a/d/s PQ20's and 320i speakers in his vehicle.
I'm also digging all of your Sunfire gear, that's quite a set up! The Cinema Ribbons are awesome aren't they! My wife recently got a pair and it still does not seem possible for that much music to come out of something that is only 6 inches tall.... I do have one question though, with all that cool stuff in different rooms where are your Linn speakers? With that much variety at home I figured you might be likely to have a pair of speakers which are on the very short list of speakers which are known for somehow being able to convey through your music the true feeling and emotion that the artist put into it...... Be sure to post pics for us!

Re: Colorado Doc's Systems

Pictures will come as soon as I reorganize the systems into their new resting places. And when I find my camera which is in one of the boxes...
The ADS Monitors are quite nice. I've loved the ADS even when Braun was involved in the early designs. The 1530s were the ones used in the early days of Telarc records and they used these as their reference monitors. I came very close to buying the flagship model (2030s) but that would've meant starving in Grad school and besides, I had no room left in my apt.

In hindsight, I should've starved that year, and who the heck needs a couch anyway???

Cheers!

I'm having problems downloading pics from my computer. Any suggestions? I hit copy on the picture and then I try to insert into my post but it doesn't allow me to do this.

Re: Colorado Doc's Systems

You will need to post it as an attachment from your PC.

When you post a reply, there is a tab near the bottom that reads "browse". Click there and then goto the file where the pics are located that you would like to upload. Click the pic and then click attach. Its pretty easy once you see it. Thats how I know how to do it. I don't think it will work by the copy and paste method.

Re: Colorado Doc's Systems

bsturgeon89 is correct, I usually save the picture I want to the desktop making it easier to find. Like bsturgeon89 said click browse > scroll to where you saved the picture > click on that picture and attach. You should see a progress bar come up downloading picture. Scroll down and you should see attachment name, and under that click submit. Hope it works for you, can't wait to see your pic's!
