As far as the tubes, they might effect the tv if Pops would keep them on for more than ten minutes....

so how hot do they get when you turn them on.....
when dads away kids will play.....

Gramps was in need of a new TT... I found him a pretty good deal on CL a week ago, and he went and picked it up.
Got it hooked up today and plays perfectly. Not bad for a $75 CL find.

i am just wondering, were those the new AL-4's ribbons ? i remember seeing something on the interent a few years back saying somting that looked just like those and they were in the production phase? What happened?

I would be carefull about owning a B & O table....replacement cartidge/styli are only availalbe through one source and they are very expensive.
