I have an old M400 (serial no 269), and a C4000.
The amp's protection circuitry cuts out immediately.
The preamp has one channel out and dirty pots, but the little holo amp still works.
Now it is either a pile of worthless crap, or a treasure waiting to be reclaimed.
Not sure if there is a question here, or if I just want someone to convince me it's worth fixing, that there are parts, etc.
I liked the sound with my Kef C95s and M&K Goliath sub. a LOT. Very rich, thick sound with lots of buttery goodness. The holograph effect made me giggle out loud. It was my first "good" setup. Maybe not the highest end, but sweet and juicy like these nutz. sound for the money.
Any recent experiences, opinions, etc. appreciated.
