C1000a repair manual

Hi Guys, I have a C1000a receiver and wondering where I would get my hands on a repair manual as I have taken it to a teck and he needs this as not getting anything from the speaker outputs or from the head phones. It powers up and can get into the setup using the remote but no sound. Thanks George

Re: C1000a repair manual

You need to talk with Toy Maker (site owner/admin). He's the only person I know of with a working C1000a. AFAIK, there is NO repair available for them anywhere as there are no parts, schematics, etc. This was the precursor to the Sunfire Ultimate Receiver & was made by Carver in the final days before they went bankrupt.

Re: C1000a repair manual

The 1 and only chance you have of getting that unit worked on, is to Call Rita's and ask for Bill...
and or Get hold of Bob, and see if he can contact the guy that worked with him and designed it.
I don't think Rolland or Rita will work on it. But it doesn't hurt to try them.
I know there is no service manual for that unit anywhere to be found.

Goodluck though. Call Rolland, and Rita, and see if anyone will work on it.
