SNOOP'S NEW TURNTABLE!!!!

Post by Snoop65 » Fri Sep 02, 2011 8:11 pm

I finally got around to setting up my new turntable. I recently purchased a Music Hall MMF-9.1 turntable and a Grado Reference Master 1 cartridge. I had a 1 1/4 inch thick slab of granite cut to 22x18 inches and added audio spikes to it to make a isolation platform for my new toy. The sound is AWESOME!!!!! If i don't post for awhile you'll know what I'm doing!!! 8)

Also I used expoxy to secure the disks to the top of my equipment rack so they won't slide. :D

TTs quickly pass into the realm of magic.
They rank right in there with $$ wires.

TT guys make normal audio idiots look sane.

Yes, I am one. ](*,)

Congratulations on your purchase.
TT guys are like fans of a sports team. Either you have ours or you are an idiot.

Good fun !!

Wow, look at that big wooden cart. That alone cost almost as much as my Rega. 8)
I bet I would need 10 spacers to fit it on my TT.
That is a "sweet" set up.

Next year, bring that to CF. You and Brian can have a TT duel.
