Damn, that ubiquitous BSR EQ-3000. I've still got one I bought out of one of Drew Kaplan's DAK catalogs.

I heard he got started in business by taking 1" and ½" computer tape and splitting it into ¼" and selling it for audio tape. Could be an urban legend, though.
It should sound like it isn't there!

Hahahahahaha......the BSR EQ-2000...it came with that long corded mike for adjusting the "Pink Noise".........I too ordered that very same equalizer in 8th grade...I blew all my confirmation and graduation money on my first system.....An Akai receiver, Teac tape deck and Sony US-770 speakers from Fretter......lol...remember that store?
