Darn OCCD
Darn OCCD
Well after months I finally got off my butt and put together a system. It all started last year when I completely refurbished a pair of silvers, everything is new except for the ribbons. I let James redo these. Then came the C19 ….just had to have one and now it has found a home. And we will grow older together. I got the C9 from a member here and recapped it myself (Still can’t believe I took on this task) but it actually worked when I plugged it in and sounds great. The 490t is one of two I have. Now to make the story short and I will list my other items after I say thanks to James for the silver 7t’s he sold me and the work on the ribbons. Thanks
The rest: CM1090-PM1.5 just returned from Rolland in Oct.-TFM55-TL3100-TX8-ECS-U-5.2 Fronts, for use in the master game room.

I like that white audio rack.
It makes the Carver really stand out.
The finish on the speakers is great.

Hey I was wondering what type of tubes your using in the 490T? F1 turned me on to these that I tried in my Jolida and am really impressed with the soundstage and base >

He's a singer/songwriter. You probably know him for Werewolves of London, which is what is the downbeat to All Summer Long.OconeeOrange wrote:Who the hell is Warren Zevon -

Talk about the perfect Carver setup, Silvers powered by Silvers with a tube pre & CD player, not only does it look cool, it must sound incredible!
Has anyone ever tried those tubes above in a 490t? Thinking about ordering a set for mine...
