.....And yes I did use Olde English dark wood oil...the speakers already had the dark oak...but when I used the oil , the wood came alive with a warm color.....also the oil does cover any scratches they may have....and also a great preservitive...
I use lemon oil on mine !SILVER-7t

...but I think a Tesla Coil would play havoc on your electronics and small pets!
