System Updates
. I have read that people have had some issues with these units, but I have already burned 4 or 5 discs without any problems. I did have one CD the burned and played okay on the Phillips unit, but wouldn't work on my TL-3300, but worked in my TL-3200. Go figure!
I have also acquired off epray a Realistic APM-500, audio power meter. Thought it looked cool (I like the LED's) and was interested to see if it would give me a feel as to how much power I was actually using at any given time. Not sure about the accuracy of it, but what the heck.
I am going to possibly make some more changes in the near future, and am going to most likely get rid of my TL-3200. I will post that under a separate listing in the Marketplace forum, when I can stop crying about it. (I just don't use it, as I prefer the TL-3300). I may even part with one of the tape decks also. (That one may not happen at all, depending on the direction that I take with the rig.) So here is my setup, after my move from the old computer room to the den. (I'll snap a picture later of the whole room - right now full of crud - sold some golf clubs for my brother in-law and have boxes of stuff all over waiting to ship out.)
I also have been acquiring a bunch of vintage vinyl. Bought 26 albums at a garage sale for $0.50 each, and my step father-in law just gave me close to 100 albums - (lots of great stuff too - no crap!!). Now I have to find a place to store all of it!! Oh such a dilema
