Finally plugged in my PT 1800 after a YEAR...

I bought a PT 1800 about a year ago and NEVER plugged it in... I bought it off eBay for $250, the guy put in the discription that it "comes on, but not tested".... That said, I figured it was broken...
Today, I got a stick up my Arse and wanted to plug it in and see if it worked at all. First we put it in Dual mono, only the left channel worked... Then we turned it off, put it on stereo mode, turned it back on, and then nothing... Then we tried series mono, and nothing again... Turned off the amp and put it back on stereo mode and jiggled all the wires (just in case) and turned it back on.
IT 'EFFIN WORKED!!!!!
Come to find out, the Right channel XLR chassis mount is loose or something and it was making a bad connection... I plan on getting some new chassis mounted XLR connectors and my father and I are going to fix it!!

Also, Beemer, I still have not put the signed faceplate on.....

It got put off so long because around the same time I bought it my speakers went into the garage for storage so I didn't have anything to test it on.... We had TOO much stuff in the house and had to put some of it away... Lowest guy on the totem poll goes first....

I agree, it is about time... But I am not going to put the faceplate on just yet... We have to design a bracket that will hold it on because the previous owner cut off the mounting holes on the bottom of the amp... We will probably change the XLR connectors, add the faceplate and the new brackets in another year...
