If you haven't been over to the other site lately, RobertR has done a very

I'm sure there will be quite a few posts and opinions,, however,, I did not hear anything bad,, different systems,,different is a better word,,alot og excellent systems,,all sounded different,,some better at imaging, others detailed, innere,,outter,,soundstaging,,ambience,,etc. The best way to describe it,,is to experience it yourself,,and I mean that with the utmost respect for everyone who took the time and effort to bring a rig, and to those who took the time to sit down and listen..thank you all. =D>

Yeah, I remember on the last day of Carverfest Engtaz asked the question of which rig was your favorite? I sat there pondering for what must have been 4 or so minutes and came to the conclusion that this year I couldn't come up with a favorite rig. No one rig really stood out amongst the crowd this year as all of them were damn fine in there own respects. Lots of gear swapping all day long with plenty of different flavors of music and gear to go around. Everybody who brought a rig should be very proud of themselves for taking so much time to carefully plan and think out exactly what they wanted in a rig, CONGRAT'S to all!!!
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.

Very true Tom... =D>

I noticed each system was really doing different things with the sound.
Take for example Eddie's Ohm speakers... DAMN they can fill a room with sound !!!

Each system had it's own flavor for sure...
NONE of them sounded bad at all (except for Ray's... that stuck meter made the whole Lightstar rack sound like ass) , but each system was very unique.
I of course prefered (my fathers) system... hell I built half of it :)

Even with fewer people this year, it was a BLAST !!! 10x's more relaxing this year, and working side by side with Bob on the Silver tube amps was KICK ASS !!!!!
I can't wait to get going on he new ones. They WILL be ready for CarverFest 2010 !!! As will other new items.
