Well, it's really just a small PC that someone cobbled together with the right parts and software to do a specific job. I do all of what that box can do on a larger general purpose PC, and a lot of other things too.
It should sound like it isn't there!
There is a difference between hearing and listening...

I realize that, I have a Mac set up and do the same thing. This caught my eye for a couple reasons.

1) I rip to AIFF and I still end up having to go find the artwork for the albums. Anything to automate that would be nice

2) The DVD ripping feature. It would be nice to set this up for my Sunfire if could rip all of my DVDs to it. Apple's new direction is to get rid of the HDs in their Apple TVs and it further complicates streaming video.

Bu Ray would be the cat's meow, but I don't see that in the near future

I don't know why i am intrigued with this. I may just have to get one to play around with

I use a program called DVD Audio Extractor to get the audio off of DVD audio and video disks.
It should sound like it isn't there!
