If you look at the Amazing Service Manual and the design history of the Silvers, you will see why. Rev. E of the crossover lasted less than a day before it was superseded by Rev F!

Not sure what you are getting at. There was less than two weeks between each rev from B to G. Looks like they were just dialing in the design, not uncommon. Also, the changes they made to Ref F negated the use of the Electronic Speaker Control. There were no other changes to the hardware (other than the crossover components) so any rev of the crossover could be used as a replacement, as long as you changed both of them.

That wasn't my point. My point was just what I said, there are a lot of different versions of the Silver crossovers, and it explains why someone's is different from someone else's. Now, if they have CT woofers, that's an entirely different thing.
