Budget depends on pre. I'll be running turntable, tape decks, tuner , cdp.

I would like to keep it under 200.00. I just bought a Phase Linear for 400.00. So right now I'm working on the wifes budget.

You can get a used C-1 for WELL under $200 and they are probably one of the best values in preamp you're likely to find.

Never mind I just bought a Hafler DH-101 in good shape for less then they usually go for.

Wish I could afford a dragon. I have 5 Naks sitting here and 2 Yamahas and another in the shop. But I guess you can PM me the price so I can cry.
