Got to agree with Frank on this one. Those speakers are in the worst possible place. He doesn't even know what they sound like if that's where they've been since he's had them. They need at least three feet of air around them and about twelve feet apart !

Well, I've got 3' behind and 4' to the sides, but mine are about 9' apart.

rabbit - that photo looks like something from a magazine. 
My home is messy. My first wife drove me to near crazy cleaning and I bailed after 6 months. The bride I have now believes brooms are things you fly on, but I have kept her around for 35 years.
I need to ride up their in the Fall and check for dust.

Bill, Karrie insists on clean here, and with what else she puts up with from me, I try to oblige.
Come on up! ...you can find dust, but you have to know where to look~
