Re: Do you think there would be any intrest in original silv

I have never heard of such an animal but I do recall a ALS prototype or very limited production [one of the two] model that had 4 square honeycomb woofers in it. I'm sure that some long standing members of this board remember seeing the photos of it, however as far as I know, nobody has ever laid eyes on a pair. I don't think they were called the Silver 7 speakers though.

Maybe it's a product from Pheonix Gold or something from another one of the companies that ran the name into the ground to maximize profits? I am curious though, we have learned over the years about many Carver products that we never knew existed before. The Silver1 tubed preamp [1 of 3 in the world and never put into production] and the Darkstar Sub woofer [1 of either 2 or 3 ever made and again, never put into production] would be a good examples of that.

Maybe he means ALS Silver woofers (and he has 7 of them  ). They could be one of two types, CT or not.

Re: Do you think there would be any intrest in original silv

I am the biggest retard !!!
I was thinking amazing speakers.. orignals and was talking about the dang amps !!

Its the amazing speakers with three woofers beside the ribbon. not the extra tall ones with 4 but the ones with three.

we replaced the woofers and have quite a few that are still in great shape that we dont have room for anymore...

did i explain it better that time?

How many do you have?
Are they the flat honeycomb woofers or the regular cones?

The Silver Edition only came with the cone style woofers.
