Carver Amazing Platinum "kit" for sale; Seattle, WA

Hello,

It is with regret that I'm interested in finding a new home for the parts to build a set of Carver Amazing Platinums.

What I have is:

(2) 60" 'ribbons', purchased as replacement parts from Carver
(in good shape, stored in closet, working fine when last used)
(8) OEM, NIB woofers, purchased as replacement parts from Carver
(1) Clearview CXR-1 active crossover
(2) Denon POA 2400 200wpc power amps
(1) B&K PT3 Series II preamp
(1) Notebook with old bass-list discussions about building speakers with the big mag-planer "ribbons"

Basically, everything you need to build and power a set of Amazings, or re-condition and bi-amp your existing set.

I'm in the Seattle, WA area, and I'm NOT interested in shipping.

Thanks all for the interest. Right now I'm prioritizing on folks that are interested in the "package", at least the Carver related parts. Although if you are interested in specific parts, feel free to post here and/or send me a PM, and I'll take note of when you asked in case I can't move the whole package.

I'm not "asking" a specific price, but rather looking for offers as I want this to be more about what the stuff is worth to you and if that seems fair to me, OK. Here is what I paid for the different parts:

- Ribbons, about $330 ea.
- Woofers, about $25-30 ea.
- Amps, about $550 ea.
- Pre-amp, about $500.
- Xover, No recollection.

I'd also consider trades for some VMPS or BG Corp speakers, a decent DAC with optical in, a nice headphone amp, nice headphones.. or.. *shrug*.

Again, thanks. I hope these parts can find their way to someone who can appreciate them.

I know a few have expressed interest before me about the Ribbons. If they lost interest or just waiting for your reply or whatever it is, I would like to line behind them.

If you would consider shipping the Plats ribbons to SoCal, I am interested in both of them.

What's the condition of the these ribbons? Do they have boxes and packaging?

I always wanted to try the Clearview on the Plat's and it would be fun even just to try it and then sell it with the Plat's or keep should they not sell

I'm trying to work something with the first person who expressed interest in a combo. If that doesn't work out, I'll move to the next person on the list.

does this mean you you going to sell this stuff as seprate parts?
not that the whole lot is bad, it's just that most dont need all of this stuff, but as seprates you will sell faster....
just my take on this....
