SO, WHY AM I GETTING OFFERS FOR $600.OO?
WHEN I'M ASKING $1200.00 FOR PIANO BLACK, GOOD/EXCELLENT CONDITION?

...and $1200 is on the high end of the usual value of a pair of Original Amazings....they do look great, though.

as if i need yet another set, i would give $601 just cause. cause i have occd. and i am curious as well for some first hand experience with that model.

For $1200 they should be Plats.

Ya' see, the thing is.....I bought and sold a pair of original Amazings for $500.00 a couple of year's back. As far as the condition? 1 woofer was bad and they were in pretty damned good shape. Not mint, mind you, but about the best kind of shape you could find a pair of these at for being almost a 20 year old speaker.

That said, on the flipside......I had an offer to purchase a brand new - out of the box set of Platinum's - for the price of $1600.00 a year or two later. Yeah, 2K is way out there for a used set of Amazings...

I think you are getting on the right track though. That said, are they Silver 7's or Silver 7t's?

I have the set of ORIGINAL CARVER AMAZINGS that were for sale for $1200.00 I bought them from him for $600.00 I'm gonna let them all go for $1200.00 for both sets.

so, 4 speakers for 1200.00 . now, you may have my interest indeed if atleast one set has the 60" ribbons and the other set with 4-30" ribbons. all in working order.

So, I have been looking for Amazings.

How about actual bottom line price?
