FS: Carver Amazing Silver Phoenix, AZ

I have decided to go a different direction with my system and now these are up for sale. In the last two years I have replaced all the woofers with OEM replacements and replaced both ribbons with pristine ALIII ones. These speakers are in perfect working order and sound amazing.

I am asking $700 and would require local pickup for these as I simply can't imagine shipping them.

Here is a thread with a picture.

BillD lives nearby; I'm SURE he could use a pair for REAR surround to supplement his TWO pair of AL-IIIs ~

Re: FS: Carver Amazing Silver Phoenix, AZ

Yeah moving them must be the problem.

I got mine in 1986 and the only moving was from Carver in Lynwood back to my place (stopping at the Space Needle sitting in the back of my 4X4 while I had dinner)

And they (and me) have lived on the same piece of property since I got them.

Had the original boxes for years until the wife complained 1000 times (I got her the year after the ALS) 8)

So I finally burned them out back......but I still have all the other boxes my Carver stuff came home in.

You pretty much need to get a buyer that is only a drive away.

Re: FS: Carver Amazing Silver Phoenix, AZ

Yet another bump and price drop to $600. These are stupid cheap now; I could probably sell the ribbons alone on ebay for this much. #-o
