Sunfire Vacuum Tube Preamplifier w Remote
Sunfire Vacuum Tube Preamplifier with the rare remote control volume option, including the remote control, no phono. Overall in excellent condition, looks like new to me and operates just as it should. I'll rate it an 8/10 just to be safe due to some small blemishes I don't see, but maybe you will. Looks right out of the box tho me. I picked this up from the original owner along with his 300~2 power amp and some other Carver gear. I was really just after the power amps, but he would not split it up, so I bought it all.
I've enjoyed this one, it's an amazing piece, but I am purchasing some McIntosh tube mono blocks and you know what they can cost. I seem to have a weakness for collecting power amps. I've had the tube preamp in the system with the 300~2 amp and a Carver 4.0t biamp configuration and they have made my ALiiis sing like never before. Very pleased with it, but need some cash to fund this next acquisition. The preamp is very flexible with multiple RCA outs and XLR. I have several amps and sets of speakers hooked up to it now with the Sunfire at the heart of the system.
I am open to reasonable offers. Here are some pics, not the best, taken when I got the gear home laid out on my pool table. I can take more if you'd like, it's in my rack, in service now. You know what these look like, but feel free to ask for more pics and please ask any questions. PM me to make it yours or with any questions.
