I have two Sunfire 300s, this one (an early model with attached power cord) failed last week while driving my Martin Logan CLS speakers. I did not realize the extent of the damage until I removed the cover yesterday. As you can see from the pictures, the right channel is pretty much kaput with major damage to the board traces and lots of torched parts. It appears one of the electrolytics blew up and then the real cooking began. Too bad since I had sent my other 300 to Bob's in 2011 to be refurbed but never got around to sending him this one.

I am offering this unit up for parts although there may be someone out there who could fix it-- I'm guessing it's not cost effective to repair it given the damage but you may think otherwise. I am looking for $75 for this amp plus shipping, probably some leeway in price. The left channel was working when it blew but I can't make any guarantees. This one was not perfect on the outside with some small scratches and a couple of small dents on the top cover.

Local pickup or reasonable drop-off in the Wash DC area is of course acceptable.

OK, it looks like roughly a 45 pound box will be about $25 standard post to 18426 from 22124 zip. You can send a USPS money order or we can do a Paypal-- I'll eat whatever fee they are charging these days.
