WTB- Carver MD/V-500 Laserdisc Player

laser disk player, my trusted friend went to the last showing of PINK FLOYDS -THE WALL then gave up the ghost.
Now what am I going to do with 20,000 (yep!)20,000 musical experiences from the 90's?
So, if you have a player sitting around collecting dust ; blow the bitch off and box it up then send it for a small price to me.

I don't know if you will have any luck finding a Carver Laserdisc player but I have a pioneer.

Where are you located?

I ask because if I sell it to you it will include approx 100 movies with it.

I don't want to ship it.

Bob has one in his garage....i almost shipped it home, but The sixty or so it took for shipping was too much as i already have a pioneer laserdisc player that has not been used for atleast two years now.

I have one! It was at Carverfest last year. It is a really nice player. Sorry, I am not looking to sell it. Good luck finding one. They are hard to fine.

yeah it's one of those things that I spent far more than I should have. my player is tempermental at times as the cld-704 has the autoflip/play and sometimes it would flip, but then most of the time it does. it also has an issue with eject. I have to power down and wait the the disc to release before it ejects. been this way for ever, and it simply not worth the extra money to repair it. I also bought one of the first Toshiba dvd players at 800 or so back in 99/00.that player smears to top of the screen, not an issue in letterbox, but fullscreen not so much. I find the dvd on ebay for like under 50 now and the laserdisc player is not that much more. If I remember right, I gave like something in the 800-900 dealer cost for the laserdisc as well as the many titles I have.

I took all my 20,k disc to a CD, DVD audio festival and made $5339.28( THANKS to The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin ) and still kept my PINK FLOYD-THE WALL
DAMMIT now I got money to buy a pair of silver seven T's anyone know where I can get a pair?
