CARVER C-1 Sonic Holography Preamp
I took this unit out of retirement about a year ago, cleaned the controls, the interior and exterior and completely tested all of the functions.
I took it to sell at a local vintage audio fest where I discovered the input selector not working right. Upon disassembly I found the wafer style selector switch cracked. I unsoldered the switch thinking I could find a replacement, but have not been able to locate one. I suspect the selector got bumped in transit.
Cosmetically, the front brushed aluminum panel is excellent without any scratches or dings. All knobs are in perfect shape. All lettering, front and rear is perfect. There are a few minor scratches on the top and bottom panels. Not being a professional the photo does not do this C-1 justice.
The knob, shaft and switch hardware are included as well as high quality copy of the operating manual.
