Hi
Located to your north in Red Deer, Alberta , Canada along with my nines.
They can be packed very securely and shipped through the postal service..much cheaper and certainly more safer than UPS ..the equipment disaster delivery service, In Canada the audiophile community is boycotting them as they damage Every piece shipped by them.... I am an audiophile that retains most of his equipment but at times will sell a few on my pieces off to make room for that one that I wish to have...within budget.

Good luck with your sale.
I was wondering about your bases. They look like the square cut dark plastic bases, not the bullnosed dark tinted glass bases that you said they were. Just wondering.

Re: Carver Silver 9T's for sale

They are the original bases that were included with the amps when purchased new. Unless carver changed them ..and maybe different ones between Canada and the US who knows..but these are the originals ..can't help that..as may know the Carver line was in constant flux with many changes to models ..are yours original as well??

Yes mine are original, as i bought the amps new myself. Yours are original as they did make plastic ones for a short time, but in your pm to me, you said that they were glass, they are PLASTIC , dont lie about them.

Re: Carver Silver 9T's for sale

Hi there
I am just going by what the manual states and the bill of sale..it says glass..have never used them until now..so ..if you'd like to take it up with the Carver Corp for misleading..go ahead..but my bill of sale when I bought them almost 17 years ago says glass bases..

Something that I've always found interesting, is that the British and a lot of people in the boating world refer to fiberglass as simply, glass. AKA as GRP (glass reinforced plastic) Maybe a misleading description ? :-k Geoff

Who knows..but its the sound..the condition and reasonably priced that is important..they sound great and other than a few marks..look great..and my exemplary feedback indicates very knowledgeable on most audio issues, trustworthy and integrity..those are the important issues.

and have a lot of decorum..saying someone is a liar is completely unacceptable and RUDE particularly when the documentation I received in good faith when I purchased from a well respected carver dealer in Canada specifies glass bases..who am I to challenge and call him a liar
let alone someone who knows something about me or background of these units calls an individual without the facts a liar..

And with the price that you're selling for, someone would have enough money left over to have a glass shop re-create the bases, if they're prone to fuss about that sort of thing.
If I had the money, I'd buy them, even if they were sitting on squares of CDX plywood ! :)
