Carver M-1.5t

Up for sale is my Carver M-1.5t
Its 20+ years old and needs to be re-built. I was going to send it to Carver Repair for about a $300. upgrade/update but decided to buy something else for alot more money. It works fine until you start pushing it real hard and it shuts itself down for a few seconds then works fine until its drive it real hard again.
Please understand that it should be sent in for updates/upgrades. I don't want any question about it after the sale. I'd perfer the buyer test it out prior to paying for it. If you are local to the NJ area you can come by and pick it up and pay me later. If your not local drop me a PM and maybe we can work something out.

Its a nice amp and with alittle upgrade can be wonderful for 20 more years. I spoke to Rolland and it will be better than new.You really can't beat that, $200 for the amp $300 for update/upgrade. Maybe if no one wants to purchase it I will get around to sending it to Rolland for the upgrades and use it with my super SDA2a's.
I am looking at a couple different amps but have my eyes on a Belles 350a. I'd like the Krell 250 but really don't want to spend $3,000. When I started looking at amps I wanted to spend $1,000 on an amp and about $600.$700 on a tube pre-amp. So I found a Anthem 2L tube pre-amp in that range but need to find the right amp.

Well now with $200. for the amp and $170. for the Bob/Rita rebuild someone "could have" made out real well.
I say it in past tense because I am keeping it.
