Transaction Problem with Member

Guys,

I'm not trying to create additional problems and I agree that this
problem is between two individuals. I am only asking that someone
remind Ray of the unfinished business as I can't seem to get a
response from him through the lines of communication I have
tried. Believe me posting about this again is not on my list of
favorite things to do.

Thanks to TNRabbit and Mr. M-500t for the offer to arrange a
payment, but this is Ray's debt.

As to giving Ray some "slack", after two years I'm thinking I"m
about at the end of the rope.

I have been careful not to post anything of a personel nature
when addressing this issue....only the facts, but this sort of
problem does reflect on business conducted through this form.

hopefully this transaction can be concluded in the very near future
and we never have to view this thread again.

Alright, this is enough. The behind the scenes action is useless. Let's just bring it all out on the table for all to see. I do not have time for this crap. It is a bad reflection on the forum, it is becoming a bad reflection on the senior members and after two years, it has become completely unacceptable [regardless of your stance, Ray]. For those who have been e-mailing me, I apologize. I have been so busy that I haven't even so much as logged onto my e-mail account in well over a month or so.

Here goes. I do not know who was out on the porch at WS12 when I brought up to Ray the fact that he owed Dennis money but whoever was there heard the entire conversation. There ARE two sides to a story and Ray has had plenty of time to tell his but alas, this has not happened except in that conversation on the porch at WS12. Seeing as how I can not possibly recall all of the details and the facts from both sides, I will just tell you the end result. At the end of the conversation, Ray said.....and I quote, "I will send Dennis $100.00 as soon as I get back from Carverfest".

That right there is all it took to get me to lay off. Ray is a friend of mine, a great companion and an even better cook but that has nothing to do with the actions or in-actions, if you will, concerning this. Ray, nothing personal but hold up to your end of the deal. Regardless of how you feel about the transaction, the lack of communication between the two parties involved is completely unacceptable and Dennis has been trying to communicate rather steadily for two years now. That leaves you with dropping the ball.

I do not know whether or not you know this but a member of our forum has paid Dennis for YOUR obligation. That is not right, that is not fair and I was asked today over the phone if I would be willing to chip in so that the member who paid YOUR debt can be reimbursed for all or part of it. I do not mind doing that at all but the fact still remains that you said that you would send Dennis the money as soon as you got back from Carverfest and to my knowledge you have not.

A man is only as good as his word.....and you gave me your word. That is the only reason I backed off and let you enjoy the rest of Carverfest. I don't want to hear of any excuses because, truth be told? You can NOT come up with two year's worth.

Hate me, love me, I do not care. I'm tired of having unresolved issues on this forum. Either pay Dennis the money as you said you would or the shit's gonna hit the fan....and it's not gonna be me that the shit is heading toward. Enough is enough and I have [we have] kept it behind the scenes WAY, WAY, WAY too long. This has become a disgrace to the forum, a disgrace to the senior members that "hang" with you and for what? A hundred bucks?

From the emails, and phone conversations I have had with Ray, he has already sent the payment, as did Gary...

Pretty much been taken care of as far as I know.

I will try not to sell anything on a forum. I have enough problems in life to have a forum to come after me and it's not just this forum. That's why Ebay has a selling point.

I did receive a $120 payment from TNRabbit (Gary) on Sept. 28th,
even after telling him I would prefer him not to send it as I viewed
this as Ray's responsibility and not his. After receiving the money
I told Gary he had sent an overpayment of $20, but he insisted I
keep the full amount "to cover interest & your trouble for having
to wait so long".

As of yesterdays mail delivery I have NOT received payment or
been contacted by Ray. I don't even know if he still has my
mailing address or PayPal account info. as I have not had
contact with him since Jan. 2010. If/when I receive money from
Ray rest assured I will return the payment to TNRabbit. I will
post it when I receive it!

At TNRabbit's request I kept this "in the shadows", but now
that it has been broached let me say that Gary's willingness
to step up to the plate leaves me with the highest regard for
him as well as other senior members (who were behind the scenes).
Hell...I hold Gary in such high esteem that I would be willing to
chip in myself for his reimbursement if Ray does not make the
payment.......

All in all....this has taught me patience and a new found
appreciation for the members of this great and informative forum.

This does no good as Ray is hardly ever on the forum anymore.

He left me a voicemail a couple of days ago stating he "had taken care of the thing with Dennis", but I don't know what that means.
