Post by Eddie » Sun Jan 30, 2011 11:13 pm

Hey guys one of my friends is looking to get a tube tester can anyone tell me which one's are good for our uses in power amps and preamps uses? Thanks Eddie!
Don't waste a good opportunity to shut up!

Good judgment comes from experience, but experience usually comes from bad judgment.

The best thing is to learn from others that have mastered the one thing you need to learn!

I would tell you to go to hell but I already work there and I don't want to see your ugly face every day!

I cannot, but as my friend I am sure you will let me "remember" on your thread.

As a kid, an uncle died and I got a Stromberg Carlson radio out of it.
I sanded it down put on new varnish. As I got money, bought new tubes, which at the time were sold in drug stores.

I was a happy kid.

These days, tube buying is not a drug store deal.
They are on ebay, Amazon and everywhere.

Read a lot, and buy with caution.

Political Correctness...defined

A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

In a recent press conference, President Obama remarked, "If I had a city, it would look just like Detroit."
