Carverfest workshop?????

I just thought I would throw this out there and ask and maybe its too much to ask but here it goes.......

If I brought my MarkIVs to the fest, are there any takers that would want to help and show me how to take out the crossovers and install the double-binding post and all that good ol stuff? I guess the rane 22b crossover is the way to go from what I've been told.

Won't hurt my feelings if there aren't any. Just a thought.

I think a workshop is a great idea actually. We could get Bob to teach use a bit of tube amp theory
while instructing us and helping us build our very own Silver 7 monoblocks!

I'll give you a hand if you like... it's a pretty easy mod.
Make sure you bring all the parts you'll need to add the new terminals.

Nope, I hadn't gotten that far yet. I just had the epiphany last night at work. I know everyone says it is a pretty easy mod but I'd like to have a walk through and learn something more in the process about my speakers.

Is the part list for Reece's mod a good place to start?

That is better than the smell of burning crossovers in the evening...

After we learn some useful things comes the entertainment part of the workshop where we watch someone who doesn't realize his way is not the better way will show us the best way to let the magic smoke out of something is done by simply re-installing the flux capacitor out of phase. I will not mention the prime candidates for this demo by name at this time, but I don't think I need to do I?

I would reccomend looking into the modd that Eddied is doing... he got a pretty sweet and juicy like these nutz. brushed black aluminum plate, and some beefy retminals.
I'll PM him, and get him to add some details here.
