Did I see pics on some of the CF photos 2 sets of ALS side by side? If so, were all four playing at the same time? I know someone mention "the wall of sound" or something to that liking.

I was curious as to the sound and if anyone had a suggestion IF you had 4 of them.

I wasn't there, but I'm sure they were.

Actually, it was THREE Pair of ALS; Ray's Originals, Skip's Plats, and my AL-IIIs. All six were run simultaneously off my Sunfire 400x7. It was a sight/sound to behold (yes, those are my legs):

Not in party mode; we were actually running each side off ONE CHANNEL (!)....can you imagine what a low ohm load THAT was?!?

And the sunfire handled it huh?

Ok, I'm gonna ask a stupid question. How did you hook up 3 speakers to each channel? Curious to know what the connection looked like

Does the Sunfire have a 2 channel button?

Are you saying that each speaker was plugged into each channel? Well six of them anyway andthen ran as 2 channel?

I didn't know at the time how to run parallel RCA inputs between channels, so yes, there were 3 speakers all on each channel. Looked a little something like this:



No seriously, I cut some of the wire off each one then twisted them all together. It wasn't pretty...

And yes, the TGP-IV has Stereo mode. That's where I use it almost exclusively.
