back plate temperture?

back plate temperture?
was listening to my al3 + last nite and blew a fuse. and noticed when i went to change it out the back plate was warm,not hott but it was warm. is that normal when driving them at moderate level?

If you were doing enough to blow a fuse, it's no wonder they were warm.
What amp were you driving them with? Double check the impedance of the speakers to see if there's an issue.

I wouldn't worry about it. My AL-III's used to get warm when I was listening at moderate levels too ! I never had enough power to blow a fuse either.
