New silver woofers on the way

Post by wrstps » Mon Jul 12, 2010 7:26 pm

Well the silvers I purchased from a local here in Michigan for next to nothing are coming together. I ordered 6 new woofers on friday from Dynavox and have started to restore the finish and material on the speakers. My wife is helping me...I have to keep walking outside to watch for flying pigs but so far nothing!!!!! here are some pictures of how things are going. I will post more as I progress.

Well the 6 new woofers arrived today, however 2 of the 6 were defective, cones would not move. The good news is two replacements are being sent over night and should be here Saturday afternoon. I will post the finished product tomorrow night. have a great weekend all.

Awesome Job! Those are just beautiful and Great stain job! The joke in my family is we have paint in our blood, My grandpa (passed now) was a professional house painter in his hay day. His greatest achievement that he bragged about was he painted Clark Gable's house!!! :D My dad hated painting and became an accountant  My uncle took over the paint business and now advertises "over" 100 years in the business. I have painted/stained a lot of wood, and my friend, after looking at your stain job > I think you to have stain in your blood  Great Job!!
And P.S. Compliment your wife also a great cover!! You both are very talented indeed. \:D/
