Platinum Ribbons

Bought a set of amazings upgraded to platinums. Getting ready to rewire and renew binding posts. Got them for around $500. One of the 60" ribbons was stuffed with pieces of felt. looks like I'll need another one.Trying to avoid the high price of a new or rebuilt one but will go that route if I have to. Anyone out there got a spare 60 in their closet. Probably not a chance but I thought I'd give it a try. Thxs Art

Re: Platinum Ribbons

Not long ago I had no idea what that meant.

Now I keep wanting to get up early on Sat and hit the many flea markets for - :-s

If I did it a million times, I might score.
On the other hand, I live in the great state of SC and old money does not brag about or sell Amazings.

So getting up early is out unless I am fishing. :D

Re: Platinum Ribbons

They will pop up from time to time on eBay but IMO you are better off have DaveS rebuild them.
Some cool Carver stuff!

Re: Platinum Ribbons

You would be better off in the long run with a Dave rebuild.
