reattaching loose magnets

got some new speakers for my plats....
when they got here 3 of the magnets had shifted....
what to do, what to do.......
well I just reglued them back on

used this lip on the top to center


lip on the tool to help center mag

centering up to within a few thou.....


used this ring to index the base of the alignment tool

I did check the alignment before gluing, this meant I had to install the mag twice, once to check for rub and then to reglue.....


done.....

putting these in tomorrow

You sure it won't come off again? I would just put a 4" long screw from behind to hold everything together.

How do you keep the bolts holding the magnet from loosening? Glued?

Vibrations from woofers is a bitch. I kept hearing a buzz from my right speaker last week & looked in back to find one of the banana plug screws was backed almost all the way out~

I learned on a Stark just a little later model than that one(it didn`t have the oilers), it too was belt driven.

How do you keep the bolts holding the magnet from loosening? Glued?

when the pole was centered, I then just gave the bolt a everso slight snug up....
the bolt opp each other is a stop, kinda a push,push action
these only just held onto the outside of the magnet till the glue was dryed

clear as mud...eehh
