Replacement 60" Ribbons

Anyone know where to get a set of replacements for the Platinum 60" ribbons? Mine seem fine, but as everyting gets older it would be great to have a spare set.

My goal is to have two sets. As soon as I do I'll have the oldest repaired by you, and then the other, and then seal them away so they'll be in fine shape when I need them. That's a 30 year plan for Carver speakers.

I believe Layne Audio has replacement ribbon assembles for $650.00 each. You can check it out here, http://layneaudio.hypermart.net/index.html

I've had no luck with getting Steve to reply via email and calling on the phone results in busy signals most of the time, so keep dialing, you'll get though eventually.
Political Correctness...defined

A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

In a recent press conference, President Obama remarked, "If I had a city, it would look just like Detroit."
