Art if you read the listing they were repainted! Eddie!
Good judgment comes from experience, but experience usually comes from bad judgment.
The best thing is to learn from others that have mastered the one thing you need to learn!
I would tell you to go to hell but I already work there and I don't want to see your ugly face every day!

It's artistic conception...or some other shit!!!!

In reality, it only matters what it sounds like to YOU!!!
Re: Carver Platinums
I did know that they were repainted. I was thinking about another color from my rebuilds. Asked the question because I was trying to picture how they would look in a different color. Probably should stick with the traditional black . Also guys would you check on my post for platinum crossovers. There is a set on ebay but they look way different from the ones I have in my spare set of speakers. Mine were conversions from the originals so I'm wondering if the crossovers are different from the actual Platinums. I've put the ones from ebay in my post. Art

Right in the listing: "I BOUGHT THEM 3 YEARS AGO ON CONSIGNMENT FROM A HIGH END AUDIO SHOP AND HAD THEM PROFESSIONALLY REFINISHED IN WHITE LACQUER. THE ORIGINAL COLOR WAS HIGH GLOSS PIANO BLACK."
I think they look like Apogees in that color.

Looks cool. I think I would rather have the black over white.
Some cool Carver stuff!
