Platinum Woofer Repair/REplacement

Anyone know how to replace repair the Carver Platinum woofers. Again, no problem now, but thinking ahead. I saw a post on Audio Assylum by someone who seemed knowledgable that the Carver's have a special surround that helps give them the high Q which is key to their perfomance. Not something he suggested that your average reconing shop could deal with (as if these were common enough so that any could be called average. I think we've got one in Houston altogether.)
Speaker Reconing
Allen's Speaker Reconing 19th St in the Heights did a fine job for me with some ESS AMT-3's; I liked the AMT, but the mid and woofers had the surroundings deteriorate. Got them replaced fine.
Have you looked at the dipole woofers at http://www.dynavox.com? Their WP-1220 looks like the closest match, in terms of Xts and Xmax, that I've seen among off-the-shelf drivers.
