How would you upgrade a pair of crossovers to platinum spec?

How would you upgrade the crossovers from a pair of original Amazings to platinum specs? Does anyone have any information on this? Also, I had the ribbons in my original ALS's upgraded to the one piece ribbons from the platinum version. The ribbons are gold on one side and silver on the other. My original two piece ribbons were gold on the outside, but when I received my speakers back the silver side of the ribbon was facing out. Is this correct or were they installed backwards?

You can buy a copy of the schematics at http://www.vintageaudiomanuals.com. If you're good with that kinda stuff, do it yourself or take it to your local hifi repair shop and have them do it.
