Got a quick Question for anyone who knows the answer to this,,,

What Drivers is Bob using in the newer Amazing Loudspeakers? Its not the same one he used in the CRM CRS Speakers and I am wondering
if its common to get like the Dayton Ribbon's.......

Been thinking of building a mini set of these only with the drivers front facing and Side firing about the size of my 3c speakers! Also a electronic crossover....

Sounds like a cool project! Passive crossovers can be quite complex but you have your CRS-3c's to look at and copy I suppose, another alternative could be active bi-amping with electronic crossovers. You should post some pictures and keep everyone updated on the project.

If you research on this website the CarverFest Speaker build (CF 2015), you should be able to track down the crossover design and schematic for them. That will give you a basic crossover design for one ribbon and 4 of the TE side firing drivers.

Probably the way to go actually since the CRS-3c has a tapered-array crossover design for horizontal mounting I completely forgot about that.

Ah ha - Thank you and will do! Crossover design is my weak point but My Brother can do anything and it sure would be AWESOME to bypass him... \:D/

I know Bob said he shares frequncy with the ALS woofers up to 9K hz in a video on the carver website...I am not looking to copy his method but sure would be nice to have a back up idea when I fail or if I fail to get what I am working for!

I had to put it on hold Temp, but I have most of what I need in parts just not time.
