Carver Loudspeaker Control System

I bought a Carver loudspeaker Control System on Ebay today. Was wondering if these things actually work. They claim to allow you to tighten up the bass if desired. If anyone out there owns one of these things I would appreciate your comments

Ah, you got yourself a little piece of gold there. Try it, you'll like it.

To F1nut. I tried my new speaker control box and it was a real bust. A friend of mine was also here when I auditioned it and found the sound to be worse with it than without. Know anybody who wants to buy one.We also used Cardas quadlink to hook it in so the interconnect was not at fault. Art
