Going to look at some Carver Amazing speakers today.
My dads best friend is thinking of letting them go if price is right.

Nice choice carversound, but remember; Amazings come in 3 basic flavors. Originals (2X30' ribbons, 4X12" woofers), Platinums (1X60" ribbon, 4X12" woofers) and Silvers (1X48" ribbon, 3X12" woofers) in either oak or piano black finish and in a few different sub-flavors (Mk-IV) and not all are creatd equal. Each variation has its fans and I really don,t think anyone is going to discourage you from buying them.

One caveat; they all LOVE boatloads of power!!!

Realy any of the ALS Carvers are great to own. But I can say is if you do get a chance for an original set just remember they NEED POWER.
